Class Description

Age: Adult Skill level: Beginner and Beyond Join Jenna of Phillips Designs for a 1.5 hour instructional class where you’ll learn the beautiful art of modern brush calligraphy in a fun, relaxed setting. Whether you’re completely new to calligraphy or just looking to improve your skills, this class will guide you through the fundamentals of lettering with brush pens. During the workshop, we’ll start by learning basic calligraphy strokes and learn to use those strokes to form letters and connect them to form words. By the end of class, you’ll practice writing words in different modern calligraphy styles, helping you discover the look that feels most natural to you. You’ll also have the opportunity to try several of my favorite brush pens to find which one works best for you! This class is perfect for a group of friends, family, or anyone looking for a creative night out. Feel free to bring your drink of choice, relax, and enjoy learning something new!
