Blush Autumn Romance

July 2020

This shoot was filled with warmth, not only from these gorgeous warm colors but from the incredible team of vendors. Check them out below.

One HUGE piece of this shoot was the ceremony back drop.... Almost every time I work on a piece, I have never done it exactly that way before, I start off being so nervous inside. I feel like I'm at the edge of the deep end and I can't see the bottom, but I know I just need to jump in. If you have ever seen my work or worked with me before, you know that no two piece are alike, and I love customizing the project to your wants whether its signage or invitations, etc. This back drop was created on a sheer piece of fabric and a quote was written in coral. The perfect accent for your ceremony that can be converted into a back drop at your ceremony as well!

The acrylic drink sign will always amaze me. My couples pick such unique and different drinks, and I love a good acrylic sign to showcase not only the drink, but the style of their wedding day. With black writing and a coral painted backing, this is for sure a show stopper. I have the original at my desk, and I look at it everyday. Another great thing about these pieces I design, they can be cherished for years after your special day, and every time you look at it you will be taken back to that moment in time, with a smile.

The invitation suite, or shall I say the show stopper! I'm so happy with the way this suite came out and how well it compliments the shoot, as well as the shoot complimenting it! Jumping out of my box, is usually when I create my best pieces, and that is exactly what I did here. With the angled edges, the striking florals and bold font paired with black suede to tie the whole suite together, you have it all.

I almost thought I was done with this post after the invitations, but how could I forget about the table runner!!! and the place cards?? and the drink escort cards!!

The table runner was a love hate relationship, I probably re-did it 3 times, however I ended up back with my first one. This happens, and I need to tell myself that the first is usually the best, and I need to not try to perfect things beyond perfection. That is a constant battle I have with myself and my work, does anyone else battle with themselves over something in their creative profession??

The escort cards were a labor of love, I pen & inked a lime, and digitized it, and printed on a mint paper which we then placed on the glasses of the signature drink. The place cards were angled cards with black suede cord which tied into the invitation suite. The suede accent was perfection!

I hope you love this shoot as much I do! What is your dream wedding must have?

XO
